The AIMER Satellite package is a new offering from Aimer Farming, developed in partnership with LIC, and exclusively available to existing LIC SPACE customers. It includes:

All for the same price as your current LIC SPACE subscription until the 22nd December 2025.

No, LIC has partnered with Aimer Farming to provide a transition option. Post 31 May 2025, satellite pasture measurement services are operated by Aimer Farming and we will be providing full support.

Easy data migration from LIC SPACE
In-app help and support team access
Eligible Fonterra suppliers can now access subsidised subscriptions to AIMER through the Fonterra On-Farm Solutions Programme.
If you’re also an ex LIC Space customer you can choose to migrate to AIMER Satellite at the same price you were previously paying for Space, but the addition of AIMER Essentials.
You’ll pay monthly, and then be subsidised up to an $125/month via your milk cheque by Fonterra.
For new customers
Monthly subscription to AIMER Satellite if
a) You opt in by 31 July 2025,

b) You were previously a LIC SPACE paid subscriber within the 2024/25 season, i.e.1 June 2024 to 31 May 2025

The AIMER Satellite service only runs through to 22 Dec 2025. After this time, it will be replaced by a new AIMER satellite or drone-based pasture measurement service with the exact name, subscription terms and price yet to be determined.
No, but Annual Subscriptions to AIMER Essential and AIMER Pro are available.
No, unfortunately the Fonterra On-Farm Solutions payment only applies to those who have been notified that they qualify.
Monthly or Annual Subscriptions to AIMER Essentials or AIMER Pro
Monthly Subscription to AIMER Satellite if
a) You opt in by 31 July 2025,
and
b) You were previously a LIC SPACE paid subscriber within the 2024/25 season, i.e. 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2025
But, you won’t get the Fonterra On-Farm Solutions payment
The payment for AIMER Satellite is available until at least 22 December 2025. After this time, you can qualify for the Fonterra On-Farm Solutions Programme payment for AIMER Essentials, AIMER Pro or the new AIMER satellite or drone-based pasture measurement service.
No, your AIMER Satellite subscription is only partly subsidised up to an annual equivalent of $1,500 (paid back monthly by Fonterra).
If you’ve qualified, simply fill out the form provided by Fonterra as part of the On-Farm Solutions Programme before the deadline and choose ‘AIMER’ as your chosen service.
You will then receive the monthly payment via your Fonterra milk cheque.
No, this option is not available for existing AIMER Satellite subscribers.
No, to receive your monthly On-Farm Solutions Programme payment you need to be an active, paying AIMER subscriber.
For an AIMER Satellite subscription, no, you won’t get an additional 8% discount as this service is already heavily discounted.
You need to opt into the AIMER Satellite service by 31 July 2025. After this time, we are not accepting any new on-boards for this service.
If you are an existing or want to become an AIMER subscriber, you will pay your relevant AIMER subscription through the payment method selected, and once the On-Farm Solutions Programme payment funding starts, you will receive that back monthly via your milk cheque.
Yes, simply get in touch with us to on-board, and we will provide the relevant forms and payment options.
But, to get access to the On-Farm Solutions Programme payment for your AIMER subscription you will need to choose ‘AIMER’ as your chosen service in the Fonterra On-Farm Solutions Programme form before the deadline.
No, this is not necessary, but you can choose to do this for AIMER Essentials or AIMER Pro subscription.
Yes, if you’ve qualified, simply fill out the form provided by Fonterra as part of the On-Farm Solutions Programme before the deadline and choose ‘AIMER’ as your chosen service. There is no need to change your billing method.
LIC SPACE will not be available after the transition, so you will need to move to AIMER Satellite or consider other options. However, AIMER Satellite offers significantly more value — including smartphone measurement and deeper insights at no additional cost.
